A Glance Back to 1884: Exhibit Reception In-Person
Philadelphia Textile School opened 140 years ago and it has changed significantly since then, and fashion has too! Stop by Gutman Library's Ground Floor (basement) exhibit space to take a look at what people were wearing back then. The exhibit, "A Glance Back to 1884," highlights 1880s fashion utilizing garments and accessories from the Textile & Costume Collection.
Join us on Thursday, March 21, at 12:30pm for a reception to celebrate the exhibit. This exhibit was created by second-year fashion design student Abby Brubaker. Thank you, Abby!
