The Office of Faculty Affairs will host a workshop on “SKMC Appointment and Promotion Criteria and Processes—what faculty should know” on June 12, 2024, from 5 pm to 6 pm in 105/107 Bluemle Life Sciences Building at 233 S. 10th Street. Drs. Karen Novielli, Senior Vice Provost of Faculty Affairs, Alliric Willis, Assistant Dean of Faculty Affairs, and Stavropoula Tjoumakaris, Chair of the SKMC Faculty Affairs Committee, will facilitate this workshop.

The workshop will discuss the Appointments and Promotions process and criteria for the advancement of SKMC Faculty. Junior faculty, in particular, are encouraged to attend this workshop. Faculty are also encouraged to bring their updated CVs. Time permitting, the facilitators will provide feedback to individual faculty on readiness for promotion.
