Data Management & Sharing Workshop Online

This workshop provides faculty with best practices for research data management. Data management is valuable for every researcher to consider. It can help to preserve your data, make your research more visible, and also aids in the advancement of the scientific community by allowing other researchers to access your data. We will discuss and demonstrate how to create a data management plan that communicates best practices to your research group. And we will introduce Jefferson-specific resources: LabArchives, Data Driven platforms, analysis software. 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  • Learn best practices for data management
  • Identify a data repository and learn how to use one
  • Write a Data Management & Sharing Plan using DMPTool
