Decoding AI: Empowering Students to Ask the Right Questions Online

Facilitators: Rebecca Miller, MLS & Emmett Booth, MLIS

As subject matter experts, faculty help learners evaluate information for its usefulness, accuracy, and rigor. This workshop focuses on building a greater understanding of GAI, its capabilities, and ethical considerations--specifically for classroom applications. This active workshop will use lecture, live prompts, and guided output assessment to bolster participants’ confidence in implementing AI literacy skills.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  1. Understanding foundational concepts and definitions of GAI
