Generate Ideas for Research: Let's Explore AI Tools Together! Online

Hands-on workshop using generative AI platforms for the novice user and for curious individuals interested in thinking deeply about generative AI. We will be using AI for the preparation phase of research, exploring how these tools can help to generate ideas, concepts, and search terms to take to the next phase of research. Attendees will feel prepared to offer guidance to their students on how and when to use generative AI.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

Identify two or more generative AI platforms
Reflection on AI outputs and on our personal responses to AI
Understanding of AI basics and creation of AI prompts
