The Lingerie Dress Exhibit Presentation & Opening In-Person

Join us for a celebration marking the opening of a new exhibit showcasing lingerie dresses—delicate, intricately crafted garments worn by women between the 1890s and 1920s.

The exhibit is the culmination of over three years of dedicated work by student Elissa Lopez, who has catalogued, photographed, and researched this collection as part of her work-study position. Her efforts have brought new light to these historical garments, and her thoughtful curation is now on display in the 1st floor design cases of Hayward Hall.

The event will feature a brief presentation by Elissa, offering insights into her research process and the historical significance of lingerie dresses.
