Librarian Office Hours - Journal Evaluation and Author Impact Online

Use the Teams link to join anytime between 10am-11am on the day of the session. Registration is not required but may be useful if you would like a reminder prior to the session.

Drop in and ask your library questions! On the second Friday of each month, Librarian Office Hours will focus on a rotating list of topics. If you can’t make it that month, schedule a consultation with a librarian at a time that works for you.

January is all about Journal Evaluation and Author Impact!

Do you have questions about where to publish your next article? Did you receive an invitation to publish in a journal and wonder if it's legitimate? Are your publications accurately represented in Scopus and on the Jefferson website? Stop by to talk about these topics:

  • Journals with Article Processing Charges (APCs) covered by agreements with the Jefferson Libraries
  • Deceptive publishing practices
  • Publication impact metrics
  • ORCID and securing your scholarly identity
  • Strategies and tools for journal evaluation
